I have looked into the claims of Jesus being the archangel Michael many, many times. I am asking that we all be willing to be Bereans and take look a closer look at these teachings.

Hebrews 2:5 says “For it was NOT to Angels that God subjected the world to come…”

Hebrews 1:13 “And to which of the Angels did he EVER say, Sit at my right hand until I make your enemies a footstool for your feet.”

Hebrews is about this Glorified man Messiah Jesus whom all the prophets wrote about and looked forward to.

We simply follow the thread of the promises in scripture, only then will see the identity of the Messiah that the ancient Hebrews were awaiting. They were NOT awaiting a transformed archangel to be born a man. They were awaiting the son of David, who would sit on David’s throne and be called the son of God. We must see through the eyes of the Hebrews.

2 Samuel 7:12-14: David was given a promise that his offspring would establish his Kingdom.

Believe what the Angel Gabriel said when he said this to Mary in Luke 1:32-35, “He will be great and will be called the Son of the Most High. And God will give him the throne of his Father David…” Compare Psalm 89:4; Jeremiah 23:5; Isaiah 11:1; Acts 2:29-31; John 7:42.

John 7:42 says “Has not the scripture said that the Christ comes from the offspring of David…” This is why the Israelites wondered if Jesus of Nazareth was the Messiah the Son of David.

Matthew 12:23 says “Can this be the Son of David.”

We must come to understand who the faithful ones of old were awaiting. This Messiah was to be the descendant of David who would rule in Gods Kingdom on earth on David’s throne. We are not speaking of just his human self being a descendant like the Trinitarians believe. But Jesus was a full 100 percent man. And the future day is coming according to Acts 17:31 that “God will judge the world by a MAN whom he has appointed.”

Yes the Glorified exalted immortal man Jesus the Messiah, the firstborn of the dead.
